For the most part, I thought she made the right decisions. The entirety of Fragment A (Prologue-Knight-Miller-Reeve-Cook) is, of course, essential; The so-called "Marriage Group" (Wife-Clerk-Merchant-Franklin) is similarly crucial. She also made a fair decision in avoiding the long prose tales, as these are probably beyond most young readers. I might have liked to have seen the tales of The Man of Law, Monk, and Maunicple included, but generally speaking Fisher has chosen the tales that are most commonly discussed and referenced--a choice that can be defended on many levels, and with which I mostly agree.
