New Podcast Up Featuring Cool Caldecott Song

In a mere six months I’ve managed to make yet another children’s literary podcast, bringing my total to a whopping nine.  You can locate the podcast on my old blog here, as a direct download here, or at the end of this post (if I did it correctly).

Reasons Why This is My Best Podcast to Date

  1. Only two booktalks, rather than three, keeps the show going at a quick clip.
  2. I’ve gotten over my whole let’s-only-use-our-own-music problem.
  3. We are now featuring the WORLD PODCAST PREMIER of the band The Effin G’s and their song "Randolph Caldecott".  I think the whole podcast is worth hearing for their song alone.  The vocals are by editor Namrata Tripathi.  Enjoy!

About Elizabeth Bird

Elizabeth Bird is currently the Collection Development Manager of the Evanston Public Library system and a former Materials Specialist for New York Public Library. She has served on Newbery, written for Horn Book, and has done other lovely little things that she'd love to tell you about but that she's sure you'd find more interesting to hear of in person. Her opinions are her own and do not reflect those of EPL, SLJ, or any of the other acronyms you might be able to name. Follow her on Twitter: @fuseeight.
