Yes, I thought of exactly the same scene in the movie version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory that you did, I'm quite sure! And I love the way Isabelle makes us care about slugs, also odd details like the fact that her great-uncle keeps trying to change her name. Well, this comment is a bit late, but I just read Fortune’s Magic Farm and then your review.
