Wonderful preview! As a Lois Duncan fan from childhood, I am excited to see some re-issues - my personal favorite was Locked In Time (set in the bayou with people who drank a magical potion to live forever...) even though my cat chewed the corner of the binding, I still have this book, and think of Callie everytime I re-read it! I also loved the cover of the Candymakers, and can't wait to see Children Make Terrible Pets!

I'm going to have to check out Bloodthirsty! Another really really funny book that pokes fun at the Twilight phenomenon is I Kissed a Zombie and I Liked It, by Adam Selzer. It was painfully hilarious. I don't usually read YA, but it was worth it!

Aw. That's awesome, T.S.! And since we are in the habit of referring to ourselves in the multiple, I think you can feel free to continue in the third person.

WOOT! I was waiting for this post to appear. Just a note, that your friend T.S. (that's me) was one of the two co-editors for I AM J. He (I) am very excited about that book, and very proud. And hopefully he (I) will stop commenting in the third person now.

Did they happen to say which specific Smithsonian museum? I'm guessing it would be the National Museum of American History.

The Smithsonian museums and the National Zoo are not only fabulous places to explore, but admission is also FREE (if you want to see the pandas, they are in the Asia Trail, which is not far from the entrance if you don't have much time). They are truly national treasures.

These books look awesome; thanks, as always, for your preview posts. And thank you to Ms. Stapleton as well.

I always love your previews, but I'm especially happy to know about the Dave the Potter exhibit at the Smithsonian this summer, since my kids will be with me for ALA. I was at a brunch thing with Laban a while back and saw some of the early (and stunning) art for that book - can't wait to see the final version!

Well, if they're doing a Wuthering Heights rewrite I hope someone gets Heathclff into therapy. Talk about savior syndrome...
