This book bought joy to my kids, this is their all time favorite book. I’m glad they liked it, they’ve never been to book reading, not till now. Nice blog by the way.

At the Vermont College Novel Writing (for children) Retreat in March, we began the session discussing new, good books. At least three, maybe four people recommended this book.

I spotted this in the catalog of our local library but it is always checked out. Now I can see why. Definitely getting my hands on it.

This sounds like a book all writers should read. I’m going to make sure I do! I agree about the cover–it’s striking and has an appeal to young writers. I’d love to have seen it when I was that age.

Although I’d love to take the credit, the cover was created by the fantastic designer Scott Myles. And I completely agree with you, it is striking and beautiful.
