For older readers, don't forget Lynne Reid Banks' set One More River and Broken Bridge. Set during the Six Day War and then following up several decades later, they address the seeds and then results of the conflicts.

If you're looking for more books on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict for the younger set, we came out with one this past spring from Lee & Low: SHARING OUR HOMELAND: Palestinian and Jewish Children at Summer Peace Camp, by Trish Marx with photographs by Cindy Karp. Marx was very even-handed, but with a topic like this, criticism from both sides is inevitable and I'm sure this book will get its share. Still, it sounds like a great read and I'm excited to get my hands on it!

Betsy, congratulations on being on the Cybils Graphic Novels panel! (I'm hoping to get on a different panel, so I'm checking every few hours.)

You have definitely got me wanting to read this book. Sounds amazing.

Thanks for letting us know about this. Since you looked at a galley, perhaps a map/note will be added later. I would hope so!
