It should have made my list. Becker's use of unexpected language is such a treat to the tongue. Words like: vamos, begone and undone - yummy, yum, yum. If anyone is ever in need of a slim chapter book that is a sure hit with every third grader on the planet look for her MAGICAL MS. PLUM - Mrs. Piggle-wiggle for the modern age. Oh yay, oh yay, oh yay! It should have made my list.

Becker’s use of unexpected language is such a treat to the tongue. Words like: vamos, begone and undone – yummy, yum, yum.

If anyone is ever in need of a slim chapter book that is a sure hit with every third grader on the planet look for her MAGICAL MS. PLUM – Mrs. Piggle-wiggle for the modern age.
