I just read this book for the first time two weeks ago and I found it positively delightful. And I love that new cover!

This is one of my favorites that almost made my top 10. It is one of the ones that kept getting moved on and off as I messed with those last 4 places. I love it so much and am happy to see it is still here.

This is the Creech novel that I taught. I used it with my AG students. My love for this book comes from not only the teachable narrative but also how much enjoyment my students got from reading it. (And most of them usually went on to read both Chasing Redbird and Absolutely Normal Chaos too.)

Not only is CHASING REDBIRD set in Salamanca's Kentucky, but isn't ABSOLUTELY NORMAL CHAOS set in the Ohio town where Sal and her father move after her mother's death?

I love when authors reuse settings with different characters, and invite previously loved characters to make guest appearances - It's so Tillerman.
