Yeah, we decided to make easy readers in the picture book section instead, though really they belong to their own separate list.

I both loved these books and was mildly creeped out by them all when I was a kid – never exactly sure why. I’ve actually been holding off on giving them to my starting reader, just because of the slight shiver I get whenever I think about them, but given her very different personality from mine, she just might love them.

Huh, I messed up the vote. I’m pretty sure I put Frog and Toad Together on my CHAPTER books list. Because they have chapters. Albeit short, easy-reading chapters. Oh well.
