This always looks fantastic and I would love to attend in the future, but the early October timing is tricky for school librarians. Has there ever been a thought to have it in the summer some time? I know that public librarians are slammed then, but maybe in alternating years? Just a thought.

Betsy, thank you so so so much for a wonderfully run weekend in NYC!! I’m very glad that no one was eaten by a bear I was imagining Jon Klassen’s bear when you emailed us with that haha. So thank you for all of your hard work!

And thanks to all of you who attended my presentation, and thanks to Aaron, 1) for making a video for my talk and 2) for posting it here for those who missed it! I will be posting a recap of sorts from my talk in the next few days, including Travis Jonker’s video, images from my presentation and an extra video that was too long to be part of my talk. (it’s taking me a little while to get back to my blogging after the weekend as I’m playing a bit of catch up, but it will be up soon)

We stayed too long at KidLit Drink Night and missed our bus from Port Authority, but, heck, there’s always another one! Well worth the trip from the Jersey Shore! And what a beautiful day. Thanks!
