I'm in the process of conducting an on line interview with Professor David Loertscher (The School of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University) for some post Summit updates. You may recall, David stating, "We have cradled young people in a technology rich environment. We have to train kids in this new environment. PreGoogle and Google. Once a kid gets access to this new environment the old method must be reassessed." I also found a very extensive report of Loertschers, The Information Literacy Movement of the School Library Media Field co-written with Blanche Wools.
If anyone participated in the Achievement Challenge group and would like to further the discussion here are some of the notes. What is achievement and how is it measured?
