"Where Else Can You Find This Kind of Quiet?"
Reading this quote, in a magazine advertisement, with a borrower's index card and jacket glued on the page, one would think, "Who is promoting the traditional style library check out?" Right?
Not…it's a Buick car advertisement for the May 2006 release of their QuietTuning feature. If you haven't seen it yet, just thumb through this week's Time magazine or U.S. News.
The irony of this ad is "Libraries began using computerized card catalogs during the 1980s." (via Christine Frey) Clever marketing I must say.
