Fun Kids Website: Ziggity Zoom

Don’t think for one second that just because it’s almost summer, and school is almost out, that I, or Bowllan’s, will be on vacation. NO DEAL. What I will be doing, however, is posting online resources you can use at home – on those HOT summer days – like today – when being outside with the toddler, for instance, is not an option.  Here’s a site – Ziggity Zoom – is new and has it all! It’s a website that was recently launched for kids ages 3-8 and designed with a preschooler in mind, it’s also eeeeaaasy to navigate. We LOVE those sites that’s easy for kids to get around with minimal assistance from parents.
Anyway, Ziggity Zoom has all original content with online stories (audio to be added soon), online coloring, games and activities.  There is also a section for parents with parenting articles that relate to kids.

Thanks to Sharon Pierce McCullough (Ziggity Zoom – children’s author/illustrator & SCBWI member) for sending this link to me.

Amy – I checked out the site, TumTum seems to be a robot in need of a lot of help getting through mazes and such. Nice little games… though I will unfortunately not be able to spend my summer whittling away on the site!
