Have a LONG ARM…is the answer I gave to my students when they asked me how was I able to videotape myself during this journey. It was a good question and one I probably should have answered prior to covering
my journey to the inauguration.
Here are suggested steps for you. And by the way, it’s a great tool for students to use.
1) Buy a mino. They are quick and easy to use for novice users like me.
2) Outline what you’ll want to videotape in advance, so you only use what you need.
3) I used my blackberry to record the video and kept the footage short.
4) My brother helped me out a lot, since he was on the receiving end of the footage and used his iPhone to edit the piece.
Just imagine the possibilities in your classroom.
