There was so much happening during the morning ceremonies that I tried – ever so hard - to capture the essence of The People of Color Conference — so you could at least get a taste of my exciting morning.
Not only did I have the pleasure of meeting newsman, John Quiñones during his book signing, I was also fortunate to have witnessed over 1,000 students completely engaged in hearing ways to help change the landscape of their educational experience. Take a look! (NOT professionally edited. It’s a quick job, so I can run back over to the convention center…a convention center with NO WiFi access, I’ll add. Arrgh!
