		<description>As big of a fan of Fruits Basket as I am, I actualy like Tsubasa better. And despite the vast majority of people that think that Takaya&#039;s artwork improved as Tsubasa came to an end, I actually liked the first part of the series better, art wise. I much prefer the Kotobuki of the first part of the manga over the &quot;new and improved&quot; Kotobuki of the cover of volume one. There is something very special about the little waif like theif in the manga, and something decidedly grey alien-esq about the cover Kotobuki on volume one.

As charming and silly as Fruits Basket was, I was quite taken by the Tsubasa story and universe. Though some of the story line is a bit unbelievable, especially the Matrix like plot in the last volume, I can actually visualize a world and society that has been damaged as the Tsubasa world was. I will never be able to imagine in real life a group of guys that POOF! transform into animals when hugged by a girl(fun though it would be). I do hope Takaya sensei will someday draw another story like Tsubasa, with that special artwork style that intrigued me no end and would not let me put the series down until I finished it all.

		<description>&quot;We get a glimpse of future volumes at the end in a thank-you message from the author, and it seems like the art has improved.&quot;

Afraid not. That was written years after the end of the series by Takaya for the new &quot;bunko&quot; (sort of translated as &quot;omnibus&quot;) verison in Japan (which is why Tokyopop is publishing it in the omnibus format and why the cover art is so much better also)
