Out from the Comic Shop lists this week’s new kid-friendly comics, with links to some previews.

Faith Erin Hicks announces her next graphic novel, to be published by First Second books!

Lori Henderson discusses how the global manga adaptations of Warriors helped get her daughter interested in the series and spurred her to read the prose novels as well. And she discusses the limitations of age ratings.

ICv2 has word of two new children’s graphic novel series: Bluewater will launch Roopster Roux, based on the children’s book series by Lavaille Lavette, and Penguin’s Young Readers Group is planning a series based on 4Kids’ Chaotic cartoons and trading-card game.
