Clearly, you don't understand what 4-koma manga is about. 4-koma is not meant to teach children important life lessons, it's for kids to read and have fun with. Choco and Mimi's materialistic personality's are jabs at the Shibuya gyaru culture, and most of the gags are obscure manga references ( try reading some of the authors other horror works.) Sometimes, these websites have to face the ugly truth: You can't shelter your kids from the obvious. Materialism and things like that are an obvious part of our society, and you can't hide them forever. ChocoMimi is addressing these issues of teen girls' obsessions with fads and weight loss bluntly and cutely. I have been an anime fan since I was 5 when I watched Okane Ga Nai, and I'm twelve and love this manga

Riley, Choco-Mimi is published by VIZ Media as part of its VIZKids line. You should be able to find copies through your local library, or at a major bookseller like Amazon, Borders, or Barnes & Noble. (Check the kids' section if it isn't shelved with the other manga and graphic novels.)
