New creator interviews at Graphic Novel Reporter: John Hogan talks to Paul Collicutt, creator of the Robot City Adventures comics, which are a nice, retro-styled blend of robots and drama, and Bill Zimmerman, the author of Your Life in Comics, a writing journal/prompt book aimed at boys.
At Robot 6, I took a look at the question of whether comics shops alone are a big enough market to suport children’s comics and the tendency of teenagers to prefer online (pirated) manga to the printed version.
