Julie Taymor’s latest Broadway project, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, experienced considerable technical difficulties during the first day of New York City try-outs, leaving Spidey and several villains dangling from wires above the audience. Both The New York Times and The New York Post were unimpressed.
