On Sunday, April 3rd, while attending WonderCon, I ran around to as many of my favorite kids comics creators as I could and asked them all the exact same questions. Keep in mind, conventions are crazy loud and crazy busy, so there is a lot of background noise. Let me know in the comments if you have trouble hearing anything and I’ll translate for you.
Debbie Huey and I first met when we were on a panel together. I was talking about collecting comics for kids and teens and Debbie was talking about making comics for kids and teens. It was the first time I’d gotten a chance to look through Bumperboy and I was thoroughly charmed, both by the book and by Debbie. Nowadays we seem to only run into each other at conventions, so when I spotted her tabling in Artist Alley, I abandoned the line I was in and made a beeline in her direction.

Thank you for the interview, Eva! You rock!
