No Girls Allowed Tales Of Daring Women Dressed As Men For Love Freedom And Adventure GN, $8.95 ^^AA Pick^^

No Girls Allowed Tales Of Daring Women Dressed As Men For Love Freedom And Adventure GN – Proof that you can’t keep a good woman down. This graphic novel looks at seven biographical tales of women who disguised themselves as men throughout history. It is based on legends, poems, letters and first-hand accounts to give a historically accurate account of these women’s lives. From ancient Egypt through the Middle Ages to the 19th century, these women risked discovery and danger all for the sake of freedom, ambition love or adventure. These stories can be a great inspiration to girls and show them that can do anything they put their mind to. In a world where sexism still runs rampant, this kind of encouragement can really help girls strive for their full potential.
