Interview: Gina Gagliano

Eva Volin

On Sunday, May 8th, while attending the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, I had the opportunity to speak with some of the people who made the festival possible. Keep in mind, conventions are crazy loud and crazy busy, so there is a lot of background noise. Let me know in the comments if you have trouble hearing anything and I’ll translate for you.

Gina Gagliano is one of those people who could easily go by her first name only.  Do you need a speaker for your program? Call Gina. Heard about a new fantasy series and wondering if it’s right for you? Gina will know. Looking for a library or a bookstore to help you promote your latest book? Gina’s got a list.  Everyone I know who works in the book world knows who Gina Gagliano is, so I wasn’t surprised when I learned that Gina was the programming director for the Toronto Comic Arts Festival.  Who else would they ask?
