Interview: Ben Towle

On Sunday, May 8th, while attending the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, I ran around to as many of my favorite kids comics creators as I could and asked them all the exact same questions.  Keep in mind, conventions are crazy loud and crazy busy, so there is a lot of background noise.  Let me know in the comments if you have trouble hearing anything and I’ll translate for you.

Ben Towle is the illustrator of Amelia Earhart: This Broad Ocean, which was written by Sarah Stewart Taylor, and the creator of Midnight Sun, a fictionalized account of a real Italian airship that crashed during an exploration of the North Pole.  About this time last year, Snow interviewed Ben while attending Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC.  But, since he was right there, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to interview him again.  Fortunately for me, Ben is a really good sport and he gave different answers to the Questions He’s Heard a Million Times than he did when Snow asked them.
