On Sunday, May 8th, while attending the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, I ran around to as many of my favorite kids comics creators as I could and asked them all the exact same questions. Keep in mind, conventions are crazy loud and crazy busy, so there is a lot of background noise. Let me know in the comments if you have trouble hearing anything and I’ll translate for you.
Jellaby! Jellaby is awesome! We early adopters got our first look at Kean Soo‘s work in the Flight anthologies and we quickly fell for his stories. Jellaby is a true all-ages book, with enough adventure to satisfy kids, enough charm to satisfy adults, and a bit of an edge to the story to keep both reading to the end. In this interview Kean hints at an upcoming book that I’m anxious to get my hands on. Take a look.
