The Picks:

Amazing Agent Jennifer Volume 1 – The popular Amazing Agent Luna gets a spin-off series! Take a trip to the past and see Luna’s hard-as-nails boss “Control” before she was a top agent. Follow Jennifer Kajiwara from her freshman year in the Agency, through her struggles with her parents and her grueling training, to her first dangerous mission as a field agent. Jennifer must learn the hard way how to play deadly spy games in a secret war full of intrigue, betrayal and deadly consequences. This two-volume series will feature events that will tie directly into future volumes of Amazing Agent Luna. This title is a must for fans of Amazing Agent Luna, as it gives more insight into the world of AAL. As a self-contained short series, it is also a good way for new readers to check out the series.

Marvel Adventures Spider-Man: Friendly Neighborhood Digest – This volume features four tales collected from Marvel Adventures Spider-Man issues 13-16. This volume has the webslinger taking on Dr. Doom and seeking the help of Dr. Strange. He has his European vacation interrupted, and he gets behind the wheel to investigate a series of armored-car robberies. But what is more scary? The super villains, or Peter’s driving?  These digests are great way for kids to keep up with their favorite superheroes, in a size that fits easily into their backpack for in-between classes and lunch reading.
