Sketch Monsters, out this week from Oni Press, is the story of an eight-year-old girl who doesn’t express her feelings in the usual way: Instead of showing them outwardly, she draws them as monsters in her sketchbook. That keeps them neatly bottled away—until the day they all escape and run amok, forcing her to round them up and, yes, deal with her emotions.
