On July 22nd through 24th, while attending San Diego International Comic-Con, I ran around to as many of my favorite kids comics creators as I could and asked them all the exact same questions. Keep in mind, exhibit halls are crazy loud and crazy busy, so there is a lot of background noise. Let me know in the comments if you have trouble hearing anything and I’ll translate for you.
Tiny Titans! Tiny Titans! Tiny Titans!
Okay, sure, Tiny Titans isn’t the only thing Art Baltazar and Franco do. There’s also Young Justice, Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam!, and Patrick the Wolf Boy, all of which are great for kids. (Art also illustrates DC Super Pets, which Kate liked a lot.) A team with this many successful all-ages titles is nothing to sneeze at and the Eisner Award proves it.
Bummer that Tiny Titans just got cancelled, eh? But all is not lost! The team has announced new series called Superman Family Adventures which is something to be excited about. Aw, yeah!
