With Memorial Day out of the way, minds are turning toward the summer and freedom from school. But don’t let all that time be taken up by the internet and video games. Take some time for some light reading! Bongo Comics is always ready for summer with their latest Simpsons Summer Shindig. Roger Langridge’s Snarked is still going strong at BOOM! Studios, and Papercutz has the next volume of their adaptation of the TV series Ninjago, with Rise of the Serpentine.

Lex Luthor works as an intern at the Daily Planet. General Zod owns a Hot Dog cart. Bizarro is hanging out at the Fortress of Solitude. Is this all part of a diabolical plan to take over the world? After having Batman in the spotlight for so long, it’s nice to see DC’s iconic superhero being made available for the younger readers. And with the team of Tiny Titans taking the reins, you know this will be a great book. Pick it up for the superhero-in-training in your life!
