Graphic Novel Reporter has put together lists of the best fall graphic novels for kids and teens.
The local paper interviews Zack Giallongo about his first graphic novel, Broxo, which was just published by First Second—and immediately hit the New York Times best-seller list.
“Kids are reading comics, just not the ones that are being sold through the direct market,” says Sean Kleefeld, who meditates on the duality between the huge popularity of books like Raina Telgemeier’s Smile and the near-absence of children’s comics and graphic novels from traditional comics shops.
