Exclusive First Look at ‘Riverdale Digest’ #1!

Today we’re featuring the debut of a brand-new Archie title: Riverdale Digest #1 is the first issue of a new digest series that will collect stories from their rebooted Archie comics. As you may remember, the Archie folks did a complete makeover of their flagship titles, although the digests continued to run older stories, with a new story in the older style in each issue. (We had a discussion of the new line when it first came out, and here are Esther’s review of vol. 1 of Archie and Caleb’s review of vol. 1 of Jughead.)

With Riverdale Digest #1, these stories are available for the first time in digest form; this issue includes stories from Archie, Jughead, Betty and Veronica, Josie and the Pussycats and Reggie and Me, and we have a previews of several stories so you can get a feel for the new style. The digest goes on sale on Wednesday. Enjoy!

Thanks for the preview. So, does this digest series collect the new Archie books in order? Meaning, this issue has the first issues of all the new books, the next issue will have the second issues of all the new books, and so on? I’ve wanted to read them and this seems like a great way to do it. But it’s frustrating that I can’t find info on exactly what issues are collected. Any details you have would be greatly appreciated.
