Trailer: ‘Spooky & the Strange Tales: Monster Inn’
We’re kicking off the first week of October with a spooky book trailer to get us into the Halloween spirit! Spooky & the Strange Tales: Monster Inn by Carine-M and Élian Black’mor, a lighthearted story about a mysterious little girl staying in a boardinghouse for monsters. Check it out:
Carine-M and Élian Black’mor are a French creative team who produce beautiful, painterly stories; their In Search of Lost Dragons, a more adult title, was published by Dynamite a few years ago. As it happens, I met them at Angouleme in 2014 and got to leaf through one of their children’s books, and I thought it was fantastic, so I’m happy IDW is bringing their work to English-speaking readers.
