Roxanne Hsu Feldman is the Middle School (4th to 8th grade) Librarian at the Dalton School in New York City. She served on the 2002 and 2013 Newbery Committees. Roxanne was also a member of 2008-2009 Notable Books for Children, 2015 Best Fiction for Young Adults, and the 2017 Odyssey Award Committees.   3. Not sure where else to ask this question so I’ll try here…

    Is THE STORM KEEPER’S ISLAND by Catherine Doyle eligible for the Newbery? Can’t seem to find whether Doyle is a resident of the US or Ireland… Jacket cover says she grew up in Ireland but spends time in both places now.

    I’m really enjoying the book, btw.
