If your position is anything like mine, you’ll likely be involved in planning a few 2.0 inservices this fall. And if your colleagues are anything like mine, they’ll want examples of these 2.0 tools in action.
Examples of educational wikis is a cool space for learning about and sharing the potential for wikis in learning. The first page of the two page wiki gathers a list of tutorials, guides, articles and interviews. The second page lists examples across grade level and discipline. Looks like there’s something for nearly everyone.
Let’s help this one grow.

My position is like yours, and I am finishing up my plans for a 2.0 in-service I’m running on Tuesday! Thanks for the great examples.
Joyce,
Thanks for sharing these great wiki resources. I just created a wiki to collect inspirational quotes for presentations. There are many good ones there, and I’m hoping people will add many more.

Glad to help anytime, Lisa. I’ve got yet another wiki I want to share and edit with you. More tomorrow.

I love wikis! I just wish my school division hadn’t blocked wikispaces last year. It was so useful! We are supposed to be a division at the forefront of technology, yet we block useful 2.0 tools like wikispaces. A few of our kids were using them to communicate with each other in school. It’s a shame. At least we still have our blogs!
Thanks for all of the wiki examples. I am in my first semester of study as a library media specialist and didn’t even know what a wiki was! I spent over an hour just viewing the examples you’ve listed. What a great option to a simple class website. Thanks for the resource:)
