Flowgram: another amazing digital storytelling tool!
My Twitter network was abuzz again yesterday with yet another tool for online presentation and digital storytelling.
After you register for a free account, Flowgram allows you to:
-
Talk about your photos Import from Facebook and Flickr then add your voice.
-
Bring your blog to life Why just post a static link when you can blog an interactive Flowgram?
-
Travel planning & travel logs Easily plan, then share your vacation with family & friends.
-
Personal messages When a cheesy ecard won’t do – nothing is more personal than a Flowgram.
-
Explain everything Create rich guided tours, how-to’s and more.
A flowgram allows you to post a basic slide presentation and add voice narrative. Presentations include live Web page, links, and RSS feeds, and may be embedded, emailed, or linked to. They may be shared with a private group or be made public.
I can see Flowgrams used much in the same way we use tools like VoiceThread and OurStory. You can easily upload your PowerPoint slides.
Because of its wysiwyg slide design features, its screen capture and link capabilities, and its ability to highlight and add notes to slides, I think it Flowgram willl be perfect for creating orientations and tutorials, as well.
