FreeDocumentaries.org allows us to stream interesting and provocative documentary films for free! I just added it to our Streaming Media Pathfinder, to join another of my documentary sources, SnagFilms, a portal I fell in love with this past April (just noticed their cool tag cloud index).
The site includes film trailers, links to related content, the option to download films, and options to view films in three sizes.
