Creative Commons cartoons
My students are producing content at a rate that continues to astound me. Through our pathfinders, we lead them to Creative Commons licensed content to use in their productions whenever possible.
While I often remind learners that they can and should apply a CC license to their own work, I wished I had some cool way to illustrate how and why.

I’ve been using the wonderful videos on the Creative Commons site with students and teachers, but I was delighted that Melissa Techman shared these handy cartoons over Twitter today.
Designed by Neeru Paharia, with illustrations by Ryan Junell and photos by Matt Haughey, these clever illustrations do a great job simplifying a complicated topic and are also available as a slide show:
