Thanks for the warm welcome home! Camilla and Judith, I will never forget your kindness. Kristen, looking forward to much more inspired craziness together! Diane, I am still trying to follow your packing lead. Baby steps, my friend!

Joyce,

I could tell from your Flickr stream that you were having a fabulous adventure, and this posting confirms it. Are you converted to one-suitcase traveling now? (deciding to leave the boots behind must have been agonizing!)

Hello Joyce
So pleased to hear you and Dennis are safely home. It was a pleasure to share some Aussie experiences with you both and perhaps provide a personal perspective on parts of our culture. As you say, the size of our take-away coffee is more of a reflection of our British heritage rather than anything we've adopted from the US.

I've attended a SLAV Melbourne Eastern Metro region meeting this evening and was pleased to still be receiving very positive feedback from your presentations. You've further kindled the flame that was lit by the SLAV VicPLN program. The excitement is still quite palpable. The topic of discussion this evening was ebooks and I demonstrated my iPad. It was a good sharing of ideas.

Election day coming up on Saturday which is another source of excitement - go Julia! In our household we'll share it with the excitement of a four year old birthday party.

Kindest regards to both you and Dennis. Delightful guests.
Regards Camilla

Thanks for the shout out Joyce. We had a fabulous time with you and the conversation for days was about your energy, commitment and passion to make schooling and education a better experience for students.

Thanks for travelling all that way to inspire us! You are one magic lady!

Joyce, it sounds like you had a fantastic trip. I think it's important to remind ourselves what it feels like to step outside of our comfort zones every once and awhile. You've inspired me to do something "just a little crazy" today!
