I’m just a book
It was one of those days.
My students were hard at work creating their Civil War newsletters from the perspective of a northern or southern journalist. They happily used our wiki lesson and pathfinders, but hundreds of relevant books on our shelves (and on the cart I dragged over) were going unused.
The fact is, for this particular research task, our books pretty much rocked. And so I found myself launching into impromtu little book puppet shows making specific lonely books talk to specific kids.

About an hour after all that actual book talking, Sean surprised me by bringing in the video gift I joked about needing a couple of weeks ago.
Check out the talking book in I’m Just a Book, starring Ben and Greg. And don’t miss the sweet dance interlude at the end.
