So glad to see that your students still value a "physical" author visit. I've been questioning this practice, and the cost involved, because of the many authors willing to Skype. We also had an author visit this year, and it was an awesome, student inspiring visit. Just as we, teacher-libaraians, still find the desire to attend face-to-face conferences, I'm thinking, at this moment anyway, that the physical author visit is still a valuable learning experience.
