LA Late Post

Sorry to be posting so late we are at the Los Angeles Times Book Festival. Sugar was a finalist for the YA prize. And while we did not win it has been a wonderful experience. Some 150,000 people come over the weekend to look at books hear authors see performances. And then for the authors it is the nicest literary party. We mix and mingle in a really nice spirit of mutual interest.

I am still dealing with jet lag even as we prepare to return. So more in a longer post tomorrow.

  1. Congratulations on this recognition of your scholarship. A literary party sounds great! Sugar is a perfect example of the literature needed to kill the textbook in the age of the Common Core.

  2. Congratulations on your well deserved recognition for SUGAR!

  3. Marc Aronson says:

thank you, it was great — except for being totally jet lagged today
