I am a pediatric physical therapist and run across issues of children’s acceptance in school when they come with lots of equipment. I didnt know about the series you posted, thank you. I decided there was a void in the literature concerning this topic, so I wrote and published a book with a child I took care of while studying in college. It is available on amazon and is called It Doesnt Look Like a Monster, A Visit to Fenway Park. It is intended for both children with special needs and those without. Enjoy.

I teach in college. I wear (large) hearing aids. I find the students adapt to my hearing loss well once they have noticed my hearing aids. Same goes for when I am out shopping etc. What are you waiting for? Go and get them they are great!
