For one thing, they/he/she unplugged cords from the buzzing television, but left the Xbox power cord still in the wall. I'll read your links and think a bit. But having done both jobs, I know the big differences in perspective. Public and school librarians both serve our youth in big ways. I loved both jobs, but during my work as a public librarian, I now realize I knew very little about instructional design, learning strategies, assessment, curriculum, differentiated learning, and so much more. Diane, I am so sorry about the sadness at home and wish I could help in a bigger way in Tennessee. I’ll read your links and think a bit.
