ALA Events – ASPCA Henry Bergh Award Presentation

Join ASPCA for a Cocktail Reception To Announce the Winners of The Ninth Annual ASPCA Henry Bergh g_education_berghsealChildren’s Book Awards for Excellence in Humane Literature.  Monday, July 13th at the ALA Annual Conference Swissotel Downtown 323 E. Wacker Dr., Chicago, IL 60601 St. Gallen Room, 5:30 -7:30pm

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt will be honored with the ASPCA Roger Caras Achievement Award at the ceremony. Guest Appearance:  Meet Special Investigator Joe Pentangelo, of Animal Planet’s Animal Precinct. You can RSVP to education@aspca.org

This is always an amazing event and occurs right after the Exhibit Hall closes on Monday so you won’t have too many conflicts. You’ll still be able to get to the Printz Award reception at 8 p.m. (more about that later).
