Here is the thing: it is tightly plotted in that it all takes place over 24 hours, and Arcos does a great job of using flashbacks to fill in enough backstory while moving forward during those 24 hours. My "but" is that I think too much happens in those 24 hours, if that makes sense. Ha, just checked my review for OUT OF REACH and noted the tight plotting. Putting on my Printz lenses, I think there are some plotting flaws -- a little too much going on during the 24 hours that the main character searches for her brother, if that makes sense. Tho, the intended reader will like all the stuff going on, I'm sure, so there's that! ENDANGERED: Add it to the list for Printz possibilities.
