So that is not a consideration in honoring/not honoring. It's a strong year for book. I like both FINNIKIN and CONSPIRACY OF KINGS, but both are fantasy and fantasy can be like humor -- some people flat out don't like it. REVOLUTION has some great buzz, but what happens in the last part of the book has turned some readers off. I cannot think of a "sure thing" title this year, to be honest. I agree with you. It's an excellent, stand-alone book. One of my top 5 YA books of 2010 (though, admittedly, there are a few buzz heavy books I haven't read yet) and every bit as deserving as its predecessor... but is there a need to 'share' the award?
