What a great interview! And I love a good mystery, so I’ll have to look for his adult books, too.

I loved this: “I am amazed at the quality of writing that’s considered the norm in the YA world. I’ve learned that it’s less “Young Adult Literature” and more “Literature that Young Adults Also Like.””

All I can say is: YES.

WHOA. Second-person!? Yikes, that IS hard, and I laugh that he wouldn’t have attempted it had he read any YA beforehand. That’s excellent.

Former teacher, radio show, ad agency… and he writes, too. We get the BEST authors in the YA circles, don’t we? This book sounds really interesting, and I’m looking forward to it. Great interview, Liz!
