Round One: Dreamer v Barbie
Match: The Dreamer by Pam Munoz Ryan v The Good, the Bad, and the Barbie by Tanya Lee Stone
Judge: Barry Lyga
Leave it to Barry Lyga to literally argue with himself. No, really. Barry-A and Barry-B duked it out. And then, blamed the librarians for having to make a decision.
It’s not so easy, is it, Barry-A and Barry-B?
This is another round where it turns out that I have not read either of the contenders; but having read the opinions of the Barrys, I cannot wait to read both.
What did Barry pick? Well, they do say that gentlemen prefer Blondes.
