Reading, uh huh, uh huh….

Wait, what?

Mine certainly crashed and burned. I had One Crazy Summer picked to go all the way.

  2. There goes my book bracket! I had One Crazy Summer winning the whole thing! Maybe there’s hope in the Undead poll…

  3. Cecilia says:

Me too! Although in retrospect, I should have expected this, since the Newbery Award winner always gets knocked out early, and since Moon over Manifest wasn’t in this contest, One Crazy Summer is the most talked about book on the list.

  4. LOL! A nice surprise, I think. Even if it made everything on the bottom half of my bracket go kaput.

  5. Angela Carstensen Liz B says:

Hey all. My final two were ONE CRAZY SUMMER and MIRKA. My from the grave title is CONSPIRACY so there may be some hope for me.

I think next year we need something where we can enter our guesses officially!

  6. Jen B. says:

Eric Carpenter has a bracket contest over at his blog whatwereadandwhatwethink.blogspot.com (at least he does this year and did last year). All I needed to win over there last year was for The Lost Conspiracy to take the whole thing, but alas Marching for Freedom stomped all over it. This year I’m not even in the running with only 2 of my choices making it past the first round and I’m pretty sure I didn’t pick either of them to make it past the second round! Ah well. There’s always next year.

  7. Angela Carstensen Liz B says:

Jen B, I need to go check it out. It seems like no one predicted a couple of the upsets.
