Just finished the audio for Carter Finally Gets It based on your recommendation here and I loved it! I wasn’t sure at the beginning but by the time football season really started, I was completely hooked. I kept catching myself going “Oh, Carter, noooo!” to my car radio. This was a great combination for me personally with windows into a couple of things I know next to nothing about (football and the minds of teenage boys – this has me looking at my nephews in a whole new way) and things I’m somewhat familiar with (swimming and musical theater). Looking forward to listening to the second one and wondering what kind of trouble Carter’s going to get into next!

I enjoyed the first Carter book a great deal. I loved the sense of humor and that it made me literally laugh out loud. So few books can do that for me. I’m glad I have this one already, sounds like I need to prioritize it.
